How You Will Make An Impact:

Expert TA is seeking an eager and self-motivated team member to help cultivate sales and new business for its rapidly growing products.

New Hires Will Spend Their First Three Months Focused On Outreach To Instructors, Gaining Comfortability In The Education Space, And Trying To Schedule Online Demonstrations Of The Product Similar To The Role Of Our Business Development Representatives. Key Responsibilities During The First Three Months Include:

  • Research and Prospecting : Researching schools and instructors to contact, working within our CRM and lists to log interactions
  • Discovery and Demo Setting : Contacting instructors to find out how they use technology in their classes and help them learn about appropriate products offered by Expert TA. Outreach should result in setting demos with instructors to provide an overview of the product.


After 3 Months Of Focus On The Top Of The Sales Funnel And Gaining Comfortability In The Space, This Person Will Take On The Rest Of The Account Executive Responsibilities While Continuing To Prospect And Set Demos With New Instructors. Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Presentations : Conducting online demonstrations to communicate more about how the product can be used effectively
  • Closing : Gain a commitment from instructors and entire departments to adopt Expert TA
  • Onboarding : Getting instructors activated in the system and onboarding them as smoothly as possible
  • Support : Helping instructors to answer questions they might have about the system, and questions their students may have as well
  • Expansion : Once accounts are established, using your influence to get more business from other instructors and potential users at their school


A Typical Day

A normal day consists of strategically hunting, efficiently farming, helping our clients solve interesting problems, honestly looking at ourselves and our product to constantly improve, being impactful and contributing to the team, and doing so in a humble way.

The Account Executive position requires a unique skillset. The ideal candidate must be hungry, disciplined, organized, curious, self-motivated, and dependable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or 2 years experience in a successful sales role)
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and work with new software applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Disciplined, organized, and can work well independently


Desired Skills:

  • Previous Sales experience in SaaS or other internet technologies
  • Experience in Microsoft, Google Suite, Zoom, and CRMs
  • Strong aptitude in Math and Sciences
  • Customer service and account management experience
  • Technology consulting/sales
