Position Information Position Title Access Services and Fiscal Operations Coordinator Job Description The Access Services & Fiscal Operations Coordinator manages all access services and administrative matters for the Mabee Legal Information Center.Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
- Hires, trains, schedules, and supervises student circulation assistants;
- Manages study room and other MLIC room reservations;
- Manages study carrel assignments;
- Manages course reserves;
- Manages library memberships;
- Coordinates facilities, marketing, IT, and other library work orders;
- Coordinates library events;
- Processes invoices, purchase and blanket orders;
- Monitors all library expenditures for library materials and operational needs;
- Prepares budgetary reports;
- Compiles library statistics for federal reporting requirements;
- Communicates with vendors regarding invoices and renewals;
- Uses Alma library integrated system for circulation, acquisitions, and other activities;
- Creates and manages display case content; and
- Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
- Positive leadership skills and qualities
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Sharepoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company
- A collaborative team player, who can coordinate work effectively with employees, team members, and outside vendors
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- High attention to detail, demonstrated practice of establishing effective priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong customer service with a can-do attitude and positive interpersonal skills
Equivalent Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Special Job Dimensions: · Works with confidential information. · May work occasional weekends and evenings, if needed. Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working in a team environment, preferred
- Experience in an educational setting, preferred
- Experience working in a library environment
