1:1 Direct Support Professional

Full-Time & Part-Time, Hourly $12.00-14.00/hour

Up to $800 referral bonus

In-Home Support Direct Support Professional (DSP) opportunities available! Work one-on-one with clients in the comfort of their own homes, providing care and support tailored to their unique needs. We offer both full-time and part-time positions across multiple locations in the Tulsa area.

? Locations: Owasso, Tulsa, Broken Arrow, & Claremore


More about A New Leaf and this position: Since A New Leaf was founded in 1979, our mission has been to provide job training, life skills and residential services to elevate confident independence and self-sufficiency for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism.

This position is a companion to individuals with developmental disabilities and assists them in acquiring daily living skills. Providing daily support which includes but not limited to: personal care, daily meal preparation, medication administration, daily activities, transportation, and continued focus on implementation of individualized objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

? Must be at least 18 years of age

? Must be able to drive, have and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

? Must always have and maintain car insurance coverage.

? American Sign Language - ASL - preferred

? Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.

? Must maintain eligibility to operate agency vehicles.

? Physical capacities must include bending, stooping, lifting at least 40 pounds, and the ability to lift, transfer, and position individuals served.

? Must be able to work with frequent interruptions, deal with diverse personalities during difficult/sometimes stressful situations and still complete job assignments.

? Must be able to communicate orally, both over the phone and face-to-face.

? Must be able to prepare and read written documentation as well as perform and understand basic mathematical functions.

? Must follow policy and procedures of A New Leaf, Inc.

? Ensures all individuals served are safe in their environment and program participation.

? Must fulfill all training and in-service requirements necessary to work with individuals served within the timeframe required by A New Leaf, Inc. and the State of Oklahoma.
