About us

We are committed to helping our students break through to genuine Spanish fluency. ‍ We've been getting English speakers fluent in Spanish for 9 years. Most of our students fall into one of the following camps: They have a Spanish-speaking spouse or loved one and want to bond with them on deep level. They live and/or work in a Spanish speaking region & want to form genuine connections with the people around them. The thing that differentiates successful Spanish learners is that they are serious about fluency, and not just learning the language for entertainment. And we're here to help you do the serious work that real fluency requires. If you want to make deep, personal connections with the Spanish speakers in your life, you're in the right place. There's a big difference — a lot of resources (apps, videos, podcasts, etc.) that claim to be educational are just entertainment, not a real path to fluency. Our Methods: Evidence-based learning so you don't waste time on tactics that don't work. Deep grammar emphasis, so that you start thinking in Spanish from Day 1. Linguistic coaching to polish your communication. We are not "tutors" — we're personal trainers, serious linguistic experts who will rebuild your Spanish at the foundations and truly get you fluent. We help our students reach their personal fluency goals without wasting time learning Spanish that they’ll almost never use in the real world. And their testimonials speak for themselves. ‍ Our Values: Stay Fun and Creative Learning a language is hard work, but it should also be fun and involve your whole brain. The LearnCraft Spanish curriculum is centered around creativity, curiosity, and novelty. And our whole team solves problems in a curious and open-minded way. Understand and Commit Listening well, and understanding the heart of what is being said (either by a student or by a teammate) is essential to good service and healthy team communication. Sharpen the Saw If you need to cut down a tree and you have a dull saw, you should focus first on fixing the tool instead of the tree (“sharpening the saw”). This philosophy shapes how we are constantly striving to improve the tools we use to teach our students and run our systems. Quality Work, Quality Play In order to produce high quality work, we prioritize quality time away from work so our team can be their best, both at work and at home. All of our staff members prioritize personal time for fun, family, and rest so they can deliver exceptional service to our students. Put Proof Before Preference Everything we do should be subject to empirical evidence. Gut feelings aren’t always right, and neither is “the way we’ve always done it.” We believe in experimentation for constant improvement, and we welcome uncomfortable feedback that challenges the status quo.
