Position Summary The Chief Human Resources Officer serves as a staff member at will of Domestic Violence Intervention Services (DVIS). The Chief Human Resources Officer will provide professional human resource planning, objectives, and administrative services to the agency. Administer and manage the enrollment of employees in the benefit plans. Coordinate forms and information needed for payroll for employee benefit deductions.</li> <li>Auditing monthly benefit insurance billings and making adjustments as needed in preparation for payment.</li> <li>Assist in the annual review of the agency’s wages and salaries.</li> <li>Coordinating supervisory and employee training and development programs.</li> <li>Assist leadership staff with employee problem resolution and disciplinary actions as needed.</li> <li>Contact legal counsel as needed or at the direction of the Chief Executive Officer.</li> <li>Conduct exit interviews and provide relevant information to the Chief Executive Officer and others on the leadership team.</li> <li>Maintaining personnel records, reports, and files, including essential credentialing material for third-party payers, certifying bodies, and other funding sources; handles all external written and verbal employment verifications. Maintain documents and files for DVIS contract employees.</li> <li>Coordinating with the Human Resource Committee of the Board, vendors, and consultants as needed related to human resources policies, programs, and services.</li> <li>Schedule, and develop the agenda for the All-Staff meetings.</li> <li>Ensuring that employees meet all necessary training requirements from the OAG, DMH, and other funders.</li> <li>Responsible for receiving, follow-up, tracking, and sending critical incidents to the appropriate agencies/parties.</li> <li>Receive grievances from clients and employees, ensuring there is timely follow-up and resolution.</li> </ul> Priority 3: Information Technology/Security <ul> <li>Oversees and assists with setting up employee access to facilities through an automated security system and issuing badges.</li> <li>Oversees technology, onsite employees, and vendors.</li> </ul> Priority 4: Collaboration <ul><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, Board of Directors, and vendors.</li></ul> Other Duties &amp; Responsibilities: Other Duties/Responsibilities: Other assistance to support the overall goals of the department and organization. Requirements Education: Master’s degree in human relations, human resources management or in a related field preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience. They collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and OHS to enhance service delivery and communication. This role involves representing DVIS in community outreach and educational efforts. They also ensure coordination between DVIS and OHS to meet client needs and maintain effective service plans.
