As a Data engineer you will be responsible for data extraction from DP, integration work, CDP data management, enhancing ETL processes, and integrating with the bulk pricing API. The role requires a strong background in data tools like Spark SQL and Databricks, along with API programming and SQL expertise. Experience with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code is also essential. Familiarity with .NET technologies is a bonus, adding value to the integration and development tasks.Job Duties: <ul> <li>Research and develop secure, scalable, and highly available production-grade software through vision, definition, development, deployment, and sustainment stages with varying levels of abstraction.</li> <li>Partner with Product Management to ensure design, engineering and implementation is in accordance with design intention and meets business needs.</li> <li>Author technical design documentation in adherence to business and solution architecture requirements.</li> <li>Work with technology leadership to identify and implement new technologies and techniques that can improve our overall platform performance and ultimate customer experience.</li> <li>Develop, cascade and ensure engineering best practices using modern SDLC that enables CI/CD and favors automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure and policy as code.</li> <li>Provide technical support in relational and NoSQL database as well as application business logic code, including developing APIs encapsulating data management, data modeling and schema development</li> </ul>Skills<ul> <li>Proficiency in Spark SQL and Databricks</li> <li>Experience with data extraction, archiving, and management</li> <li>Strong understanding of SQL for data manipulation and management</li> <li>Skills in API programming and Web APIs</li> <li> Experience with Azure DevOps and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) </li> </ul>For this US-based position, the base pay range is $75,504.00 - $134,521.77 per year .
