Establishes plans for improving departmental operations, emphasizing efficiency and economy</li> <li>Oversee all engineering functions associated with the support of critical business operations.</li> <li>Create roadmap to improve self-performance of Engineering functions in region</li> <li>Strong knowledge and experience with general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, building automation systems, hardware, patching and painting.</li> <li>Strong knowledge and experience with general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, building automation systems, hardware, patching and painting.</li> <li>Prioritizes client driven work, preventative maintenance work, and special initiatives as identified.</li> <li>Understand account KPI’s, monitor teams’ performance, and adjust as needed to ensure KPI’s are being met.</li> <li>Assist with the development of training program for engineering personnel in region of responsibility. Including, but not limited to, CMMS, payroll, performance management, mechanical/electrical systems, etc.</li> <li>Determine qualification process to promote career growth within engineering teams</li> <li>Ensure all employees within region of responsibility enter timecards timely and accurately.</li> <li>Strong leadership, employee relation skills, coaching skills, and training skills.</li> <li>Measures/assesses performance and potential of employees and recommends employees for current/future staffing need</li> <li>Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, being able to work effectively with all levels of personnel and client</li> </ul>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the leadership of all C&amp;W engineering employees within the assigned area of responsibility.REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):Education: Possess a high school degree or an approved GED. A degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or Management is preferred, but not required.Experience: Possess a minimum of five years experience in the building maintenance field, with experience in supervision, planning / scheduling, estimating, and hands-on facilities maintenance preferred. Excellent oral and written skills.Computer Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in creating and working with documents in Microsoft Word and Excel.
