You will join the Immersive Technologies department, leading the development team in building various experiences for web deployment. Additionally, the Development Manager will collaborate with department leadership to create the platforms that are required to deliver experiences to internal and external users in a variety of formats and on multiple hardware applications. The right person will work with a creative team to bring a vision to life!</p> <h2>Job Requirements </h2> <ul> <li>Leads and coaches the software engineering team, 3D design team, and quality assurance team.</li> <li>Creates, scopes, and plans high-end interactive 3D web experiences (websites, web applications, intranet sites, web engines, or platforms).</li> <li>Develops innovative and creative solutions to sophisticated technological problems, and implements strategic and tactical plans.</li> <li>Responsible for the software architecture and design choices for system level and directing the building of such applications, so they are robust, secure, configurable, maintainable, and adaptable.</li> <li>Defines the functional software behavior of the system and defines an optimal infrastructure of the software and hardware development, equipment, systems, and quality aspects.</li> <li>Collaborates with the product team to define and spec out products to achieve an efficient balance between market requirements and technical specifications within the constraints of time and budget.</li> <li>Lead software technical reviews and handle technical software issues, measure progress toward goals, and mentor junior engineers.</li> <li>Coordinates team meetings to solve technical issues efficiently. Defines software integration and test strategies, that are performed in an automated environment.</li> <li>Evaluates and coaches on software design and software development techniques.</li> </ul> <h2>Desired Skills &amp; Abilities: </h2> <ul> <li>Proficient in the following frameworks: Babylon.js, or three.js</li> <li>Proficient in OpenGL, ES, or WebGL</li> <li>Proficient with: JavaScript, HTML, &amp; CSS coding experience in PHP</li> <li>Experience developing an internal intranet, web pages, or apps with Microsoft Office 365 suite</li> <li>Proficiency in any of the following 3D Modeling tools: Unity, Unreal, Autodesk Maya/Max, 3D Lighting and UV Unwrapping/ Texturing software</li> <li>Strong understanding of image optimization</li> <li>Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.)</li> <li>Knowledge of UX/UI standards</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Creative, resourceful, self-starting, and curious</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications </h2> <ul> <li>At least two years in a leadership role</li> <li>Proven experience as a software developer or software engineer</li> </ul>
