The position requires broad technical expertise in servers, computing, networking, storage, data centers, communication services, data protection, and virtualization.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supporting senior and lead engineers in infrastructure implementation, automation, and maintenance</li> <li>Lead and Support transition of Avaya to Cisco</li> <li>Contribute to ongoing maintenance and upkeeps of IT Infrastructure</li> <li>Offer feedback and suggestions on technical and architectural designs.</li> <li>Maintain documentation of infrastructure designs throughout their life cycle.</li> <li>Participate in continuous process improvement as part of IT Service Management.</li> <li>Possess a mid-level understanding of IT infrastructure components and their role in supporting end-user applications and services.</li> <li>Develop a well-rounded knowledge base across multiple engineering disciplines.</li> <li>Collaborate with senior and lead engineers on infrastructure implementation, automation, and maintenance efforts.</li> <li>Provide input on design strategies and ensure accurate documentation of infrastructure changes.</li> <li>Support the organization’s commitment to ongoing process improvement within IT Service Management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager Version 15 </li> <li>Experience implementing Cisco UC solutions </li> <li>Experience configuring and deploying Cisco 8200 series routers </li> <li>Experience with VG410 and ATA191 analog gateways </li> <li>Experience deploying a variety of Cisco phone models including 8851, 7841, 8832, and Cisco Jabber softphones.</li> <li>Experience setting up Cisco Unity Connection for voicemail services and basic call handling.</li> <li>Previous experience with Wide Area and Local Area Network Infrastructure</li> <li>Previous experience with mobile telecommunications provisioning and troubleshooting</li> <li>Previous experience with syslog and call detail records</li> <li>Infrastructure Engineer Network: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in Microsoft Active Directory preferred.</li> <li>Previous experience with mobile telecommunications provisioning and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Previous experience with syslog and call detail records.</li> <li>Previous experience with telecommunications alarm management platforms and remote monitoring experience preferred.</li> <li>Previous experience with Ethernet, Internet Protocol, Routing, and QoS preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Perks &amp; Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>Voluntary and Long-term disability insurance</li> <li>Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay</li> <li>Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in learning more about the <strong>Cisco UC Engineer</strong> opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
