This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs to ensure the facility's optimal functioning. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Conducts regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance issues.</li> <li>Performs routine maintenance such as system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical system inspections.</li> <li>Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical equipment, including but not limited to, pumps, motors, generators, and other machinery.</li> <li>Coordinates with external vendors for specialized equipment repairs.</li> <li>Responds promptly to emergency maintenance requests and issues to minimize downtime.</li> <li>Diagnoses and resolves urgent problems to ensure the safety and functionality of the facility.</li> <li>Develops and implements a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure the longevity of equipment and systems.</li> <li>Keeps detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.</li> <li>Performs basic carpentry work, including repairing doors, windows, and walls.</li> <li>Addresses building maintenance issues, such as leaks, structural damage, or general wear and tear.</li> <li>Maintains the exterior of the facility, including landscaping, snow removal, and parking lot maintenance.</li> <li>Ensures that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.</li> <li>Participates in safety training programs and promotes a safe working environment.</li> <li>Communicates effectively with other departments, management, and external contractors.</li> <li>Reports on the status of maintenance activities and provides recommendations for improvements.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and certification in a skilled maintenance trade (e.g., Electrical, Millwright, Plumber/Pipefitter, HVAC, Welder, Sheet Metal) with a minimum of 1 year experience in industrial maintenance, facility maintenance, or construction. Preferred qualifications include current material handling certification, Lock Out/Tag Out, Lifting &amp; Rigging, preventive or predictive maintenance, or any journeyman/trades licensing. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: <ul> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office and preventive maintenance software.</li> <li>Working knowledge of equipment controls and NESC, UL/ETL (including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
