In this role, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating combustion equipment, including process burners, thermal oxidizers, and flares. This position involves working closely with Process and R&amp;D engineers, conducting inspections, performing facility maintenance, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, thrive outdoors in all elements, and possess mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes initiative, and values teamwork!</a> What You Will Do <ul> <li>100% involvement with the safety programs. </li> <li>Daily setup and tear down of projects. </li> <li>Testing of combustion equipment such as process burners, thermal oxidizers and flares. </li> <li>Work closely with Process and R&amp;D engineers. </li> <li>Daily use of computers and HMI systems. </li> <li>QC products when they arrive at the test center. </li> <li>Perform facility preventative maintenance and routine inspections. </li> <li>Work in group settings as well as be a self-starter and efficient worker. </li> <li>Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime as necessary to meet project deadlines and operational needs</li> </ul> Physical Requirements <ul> <li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>Ability to work full time in all outdoor conditions, including adverse conditions, wearing full FR coveralls.</li> <li>Ability to climb ladders and stairs.</li> <li>Ability to become certified and work at heights up to 100’ in aerial lifts.</li> <li>Be able to complete a physical assessment and perform confined space entry work inside of test facility furnaces and related equipment.</li> </ul> Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) <ul> <li>Experience in a Mechanical related field </li> </ul> What Will Put You Ahead <ul> <li>Pipe fitting and related experience/knowledge </li> <li>PLC &amp; HMI knowledge. </li> <li> Electrical or instrumentation skills </li> </ul> At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
