<a href="#">Apply</a> Description Job Summary: To ensure residential services and programming to meet the needs of clients with developmental disabilities. To supervise the Habilitation Training Specialists (HTS) working with the clients and to oversee implementation and documentation of the clients’ programs. Reports to a Program Coordinator II (PCII). Essential Job Functions: <ol> <li>Participates in interviewing/hiring of staff and provides input on evaluating/disciplining of staff. </li> <li>Ensures staff receive necessary training; both in-home and in-service. May conduct training when authorized. </li> <li>Ensures adequate staff coverage with the assistance of the PCII; performs duties of an HTS if necessary. </li> <li>Reviews and approves mileage logs of assigned staff. </li> <li>Initiates and participates in regular meetings with house HTS staff. </li> <li>Assists PCII with writing, implementation and revision of Client Individual Plans (IPs). </li> <li>Attends and participates in Team Meetings and Annual IP Meetings. </li> <li>Ensures that medications are properly managed; responsible for filling prescriptions, reviews documentation of administration and doctor’s orders. </li> <li>Serves as the Health Care Coordinator (HCC) for assigned clients. Schedules medical and dental appointments and prepares forms. Attends appointments when possible, notifies employers if work will be missed because of appointments. </li> <li>Request funds for clients’ and household needs. Reviews clients’ petty cash expenditures. Controls expenditures within budget guidelines.
