In this role you will: <ul> <li>Write persuasive proposal and qualification packages that require a blend of new content creation and the reuse of existing content, reviewing for continuity, logic, message, and impact.</li> <li>Produce creative marketing collateral, such as brochures, capability statements, case studies, blog content, resumes, project descriptions, and other narrative information.</li> <li><a href="#">Coordinate project photography for completed projects, as needed.</a></li> <li>Complete company and vendor certifications and registrations, as needed.</li> <li>Order company swag, ensuring brand standards are met.</li> <li>Collect, assemble, and maintain accurate project/company information in both the content library and CRM database to produce requested information as needed.</li> <li>Print proposals and other documents when needed.</li> <li><a href="#">Contribute to social media and website content. </a></li> <li>Work well under short deadlines, maintaining good time management skills to balance workload and ensure deliverables are produced on time with adequate time for thorough review.</li> <li>Provide additional department support as needed or assigned.</li> </ul> The ideal candidate has: <ul> <li>A college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, advertising, English, or a related field.</li> <li>Three to five years of experience developing content and messaging for various types of marketing collateral.</li> <li>Strong technical writing skills including command of tone, mechanics, and grammar.</li> <li>The ability to work collaboratively and/or independently on assignments.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal teams and external partners.</li> <li>A strong work ethic and sense of teamwork.</li> <li>Strong proofreading and editing skills.</li> <li>Strong technical writing skills including command of tone, mechanics, and grammar.</li> <li>Ability to build cohesive documents using information from multiple resources.</li> <li>Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign programs (more than two years of consistent use is strongly preferred).</li> <li>A general sense of visual style (experience with layout and graphic design is strongly preferred).</li> <li>An ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li> </ul> Expectations in this role include… <ul> <li>Strong technical writing skills including command of tone, mechanics, and grammar.</li> <li>Exceptional proofreading and editing skills.</li> <li>Ability to build cohesive documents using information from multiple resources.</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign programs (more than one year of consistent use is strongly preferred).</li> <li>A great sense of visual style (experience with layout and graphic design is strongly preferred).</li> <li>An ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal teams and external partners.</li> <li>A strong work ethic and sense of teamwork.</li> <li>The ability to work independently and/or collaboratively on assignments.</li> </ul> Physical requirements include: <ul> <li>Ability to work extended hours when necessary to accomplish project goals.</li> <li>Occasional travel to other office locations, project sites, or trade shows.</li> <li>Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other commonly used business-related items.</li> </ul> Status: Exempt Reports to: Marketing Director Secondarily Reports to: President
