Job Description: Work directly with the business development officers, relationship managers, investment bank, capital markets teams and/or product specialists to develop, structure, analyze, covenant, document, fund and close a deal. Work on a broad range of transactions from large corporate/private equity to core middle market. Requires direct contact with the client, financial sponsors and/or financial intermediaries. This will include outside accountants, legal counsel and field examiners. Must develop full understanding of BANA and BABC credit policies and regulatory requirements is required to enable immediate reaction to situations during the underwriting, documentation and closing processes. Job Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Analyzing new prospects for credit quality and Asset Based Lending potential, including financials and projections</li> <li>Evaluate collateral from a broad spectrum of industries for suitability for asset-based facilities.</li> <li>Assist in negotiation of term sheets and credit agreements with prospective clients.</li> <li>Prepare internal documentation to evaluate new opportunities to include pre-screens and final approval documentation.</li> <li>Work closely with risk management on approvals; present borrower and structure to risk committee in order to secure deal approval.</li> <li>Work with outside counsel and other third parties, including appraisers and field examiners, to document and close transactions.</li> </ul> Required Qualifications: <ul> <li>7+ years experience credit, underwriting, and structuring of corporate lending transactions.</li> <li>Deep knowledge of Legal Documentation (commitment papers, term sheets, credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, etc.)</li> <li>Able to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with both internal and external clients.</li> <li>Easily navigates multiple client and support organizations; able to engage and gather resources through various business partners in order to achieve successful outcomes.</li> </ul> Desired Qualifications: <ul> <li>10+ years asset-based experience</li> <li>Familiarity with asset-based lending across broad industries, including specific sector risks and nuances</li> <li>BA/BS Degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting or related</li> </ul> Skills: <ul> <li>Analytical Thinking</li> <li>Attention to Detail</li> <li>Financial Analysis</li> <li>Loan Structuring</li> <li>Underwriting</li> <li>Collaboration</li> <li>Decision Making</li> <li>Negotiation</li> <li>Problem Solving</li> <li>Written Communications</li> <li>Business Acumen</li> <li>Client Management</li> <li>Portfolio Management</li> <li>Prioritization</li> <li>Executive Presence</li> </ul> Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent Shift:1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40
