We transform, improve and support global Stripe business processes to drive critical initiatives and other cross-functional business priorities for the sales planning cycle. <h2 id="what-youll-do">What you’ll do</h2> Build and lead a team of FTE and outsourced Sales Operations experts with an aim to improve our customer data processes. You will partner with GTM leadership (CMO, CRO, Head of GTM Operations) to understand the gaps and address those through processes, policies and workflows. <h3 id="responsibilities">Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Understand root cause process gaps that degrade data hygiene </li> <li>Running Executive-level SteerCo on a regular cadence </li> <li>Develop a Data Quality roadmap to address various customer data challenges </li> <li>Align on prioritization with leadership, Data Engineering and Systems teams </li> <li>Influence implementation and enablement of process, systems and tools </li> <li>Create an outsourcing strategy for always-on data clean-up </li> <li>Manage contractors as part of the outsourcing strategy to scale data quality initiatives, reporting, process, and analytics </li> <li>Define and measure metrics for success </li> <li>Develop dashboards highlighting progress along the identified metrics </li> <li>Communicate progress to Stripe leadership and leverage them to influence and unblock </li> </ul> <h2 id="who-you-are">Who you are</h2> We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. <h3 id="minimum-requirements">Minimum requirements</h3> <ul> <li>Has 11+ years of sales, strategy and operations experience in a high-tech growth environment, or operational experience in management consulting </li> <li>Able to own the problem, investigate its root causes and ensure execution </li> <li>Can work across multiple stakeholders and elevate for leadership </li> <li>Experience with influencing executive leaders and running executive-level meetings </li> <li>Has an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality. Willing to do IC work along with leading </li> <li>Has strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems </li> <li>Works well with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment </li> </ul> <h3 id="preferred-qualifications">Preferred qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Experience managing outsourced services </li> <li>Proficiency in SQL and other advanced analytics tools </li> <li>Proficiency in BI visualization tools (eg Tableau) </li> <li>Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/software company </li> <li>Prior experience in the SaaS and/or payments industry </li> </ul> This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live. The annual US base salary range for this role is $172,000 - $258,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
