The HCM Consultant will provide Workday product and implementation expertise to their engagements. They will work with their clients to understand their business requirements and help configure and test the Workday solution. They will also work with Workday Deployment Partners in an Advisory capacity on Partner led deployments. The Consultant will take direction from and provide status to the Engagement Manager assigned to their project while working collaboratively with their project teammates.Key Areas of Responsibility:<ul> <li>Become an expert in the Workday HCM product suite, focusing on the Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting</li> <li>Become an expert on the US Federal specific Workday functionality and configuration best practices for functionality within the HCM product suite</li> <li>Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements</li> <li> Perform the following on a customer engagement: <ul> <li>Elicit and document customer business requirements</li> <li>Configure the Workday solution to meet requirements</li> <li>Document solutions for the client to reference in the future</li> <li>Support the client and data conversion teams in converting legacy data into Workday</li> <li>Support the integration teams in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions</li> <li>Assist the client in testing the Workday solution</li> <li>Transfer Workday system knowledge to the customer to ensure customer satisfaction in their production environment.</li> <li>Communicate regularly with the project engagement manager regarding forecasting hours, time reporting, projects risks, and mitigations.</li> <li>Liaison support for key functional discussions with Workday’s Product and Enablement teams</li> <li>Provide guidance on complex and/or cross-functional workstream solutions in collaboration with Consultant (P4)<ul> <li>Previous experience with the operations and culture of US Federal entities</li> <li>6+ years of deployment consulting experience in SAP, Oracle, CGI Momentum, Infor or similar Cloud SaaS/ERP (HCM) product areas</li> <li>Multiple years of HR experience (employee relations, personnel/human resources, talent management, recruiting, etc.) </li> <li> Experience with at least one of the following human resources areas: <ul> <li>Talent development</li> <li>Workforce Management</li> <li>Employee or Performance management</li> <li>Career or Succession planning</li> <li>Recruiting</li> <li>Benefits systems or administration</li> </ul> </li> </ul>Basic Qualifications: Principal Functional Consultant (P5)<ul> <li>Previous experience with the operations and culture
