Job Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide coverage and travel to various sites to perform phlebotomy job duties</li> <li>Assist in the supervision of a team of phlebotomists</li> <li>Observe new employee performance and report observations to the supervisor</li> <li>Perform site inspections on a regular basis and accurately report all findings</li> <li>Provide continuous training to phlebotomy staff as directed</li> <li>Complete new hire and annual competency assessments when necessary</li> <li>Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs</li> <li>Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner</li> <li>Review daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and making schedule adjustments as needed</li> <li>Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers</li> <li>Perform all duties of a phlebotomist and site coordinator as needed</li> </ul>Requirements:<ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Minimum 1+ year of experience as a phlebotomist; 2+ years is preferred</li> <li>Prior experience in a leadership position is a plus</li> <li>Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred</li> <li>In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques</li> <li>Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service</li> <li>Strong communication skills; both written and verbal</li> <li>Ability to work independently or in a team environment</li> <li>Comfortably working under minimal supervision</li> <li>Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable</li> </ul>If you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!
