General Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands </li> <li>Develop and maintain category growth roadmap including new category identification, scoping, sizing and prioritization grounded in industry and category trends</li> <li>Develop clear, data-driven executive narratives that articulate category priorities, investment rationale, and advertiser and customer impact</li> <li>Identify, scope, and establish external partnerships that benefit value delivery from new and existing categories</li> <li>Act as key thought partner for Category leadership, completing special projects and continuously elevating the vision and execution for the Categories team</li> <li>Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Partnerships and Business Operations to drive alignment and accelerate execution of category initiatives</li> <li>Establish robust reporting frameworks and standardized KPIs to increase transparency into category health and value delivery</li> <li>Drive category team operating cadences including regular leadership updates</li> <li>Serve as the go-to person for the progression of data standardization and reporting for the Category team</li> <li>Product: Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product level modeling/analytics </li> <li>Credit Risk: Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis </li> </ul><ul> <li>Execution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently </li> <li>Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability </li> <li>Strategic &amp; analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
