<h2>Posting Details</h2> Position Information Position Title Graphic Designer Job Description Position overview: The University of Tulsa is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications team. This role will focus on creating high-quality print materials, including magazine layouts and direct mail pieces, as well as digital assets for our online platforms. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Design and produce a variety of print materials such as magazines, brochures, flyers, and direct mail pieces.</li> <li>Create compelling digital assets for website, social media, email campaigns, and other online platforms.</li> <li>Collaborate with the marketing team and campus partners to develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.</li> <li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.</li> </ul> Required Qualifications Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.</li> <li>Proven experience in print and digital design.</li> <li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.</li> <li>Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and ability to handle a variety of design styles.</li> <li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li> <li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications Preferred Skills <ul> <li>Experience in magazine layout design and direct mail pieces.</li> <li>Knowledge of digital design best practices, including responsive design and email design.</li> <li>Familiarity with web design and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.</li> </ul> Physical Demands Sitting for extended periods of time. Reporting to the Manager, Product Design, the Senior Product Designer possesses a balanced toolkit of research, interaction design, and prototyping capabilities. As a Senior Product Designer, you are capable of performing discovery research with users, creating journey maps and task flows, and developing prototypes to test your concepts and designs. You’re also adept at being excellent collaborative partners with our friends in Product, Engineering and QA. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $115,000 USD - $165,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
