Disaster Response Fundraising: 15% - Act as the lead coordinator for Resource Development’s engagement during major disaster responses (Level 3), working in close collaboration with U.S. and Global Program teams to activate and support donor outreach strategies. - Oversee and manage coordinated fundraising efforts for lower-tier (Level 1 and Level 2) disaster responses, ensuring timely information flow and fundraising readiness across teams. - Provide fundraisers with tailored updates, key messaging, and situational briefs during active disasters, enabling them to engage donors effectively and drive critical support. - Contribute to post-disaster reporting and analysis to inform future emergency fundraising strategies and improve donor response time and impact. Support Donor Engagement Events: 5% - Includes virtual events as well as in-person complex, multi-day events, smaller events, and other engagement activities. Key Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree. - At least five years of experience around soliciting and/or understanding fundraising initiatives to donors with a strong understanding of tools and support that are foundational to a fundraiser’s toolkit. - Requires a keen understanding of the fundraising solicitation cycle and the tools and support that are foundational for a fundraiser’s tool kit. - Skilled in engaging with donors, managing communications, and ensuring a positive and seamless donor experience. - Proven ability to deliver tangible impact while handling competing priorities in a ‘fast paced’ environment and exhibit efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills. - Demonstrated ability to quickly collect information from internal and external sources, synthesize and summarize for senior executive review. - Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills. - Demonstrated business, technology and interpersonal savviness, confidence and relationship management skills to interface with all levels of the global Habitat network. - Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity and trust; demonstrable servant leadership. - Strong strategic/financial analysis skills. - Experience in donor and customer relationship management (CRM) software. - Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Mission-driven; passionate; comfortable communicating about and working within a Christian organization. The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.
