The Accounting Manager of Platform Operations must possess strong accounting and operational expertise, an ability to communicate and work with various teams outside of Finance (such as Data, Payment Operations and Crypto Payments), and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth technology company. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, Platform Accounting, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for reconciling and analyzing platform data in the company’s financial / platform systems. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): <ul> <li>Perform or review monthly close activities related to inventory cost accounting, the related account reconciliations and the analysis of ending balances.</li> <li>Assist with the launch of new digital assets and products impacting platform accounting operations.</li> <li>Ensure that appropriate internal controls over platform accounting are in place, to reduce risk and secure corporate assets, including developing and/or updating procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls</li> <li>Develop and implement scalable accounting processes to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting</li> <li>Coordinate with cross-functional partners to operationalize new areas of the business to facilitate streamlined accounting transactions</li> <li>With major system experience, recognize the links upstream/downstream and verbalize the impacts &amp; reliance internal business partners have on the various functions.
