<a href="#">Apply</a> Description JOB TITLE: Grants and Research Manager REPORTS TO: Chief Development Officer FLSA TYPE: Non-Exempt WORK LOCATION: Association Office JOB PURPOSE: The Grants and Research Manager, under direct supervision of the Chief Development Officer, will initiate and oversee grant writing and monitoring opportunities as well as direct outcome measurement for the Association. They will manage strategic research efforts including execution and analysis of survey data from members, participants, staff and community members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not a complete list): <ul> <li>Seek out opportunities for grants and funding sources that are applicable to YMCA programs and services.</li> <li>Manage research and data collection for Association including creation, execution and analysis of surveys.</li> <li>Write grants for programs, services, or capital projects Association-wide, collect outcomes and report accordingly.</li> <li>Determine grant funding needs throughout the Association.</li> <li>Work as a key staff person for the YMCA Annual Support Campaign and United Way’s campaign.</li> <li>Assist in writing the annual Tulsa Area United Way allocation request.</li> <li>Assist, when needed, in the administration of data collection for YMCA programs and services.</li> <li>Develop and implement evaluation activities research and measure outcomes of YMCA programs.</li> <li>Manage evaluation and grant contracts.</li> <li>Administer and manage tracking for prospective and received grants in designates system.</li> <li>Administer and manage the contact database for granting organizations in the designated system.</li> <li>Assist in donor, volunteer and social responsibility events.</li> <li>Other duties:</li> <li>Provide support, whenever needed, to Association initiatives</li> <li>Participate in YMCA special event projects when needed</li> <li>Participate in the YMCA Annual Support Campaign</li> </ul> Requirements Required: <ul> <li>Must be 21 years old</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in related field or will accept 48 months of equivalent experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree. </li> <li>3-5 years of fundraising and development work.</li> <li>Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</li> <li>Strong organizational and communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent writing skills and analytical thinking.</li> <li>Ability to maintain accurate recordkeeping.</li> <li>Ability to evaluate data and recognize trends.</li> </ul> Preferred: <ul> <li>CPR, First Aid, AED, Oxygen Administration certification (will provide upon employment)</li> <li>Bilingual English and Spanish</li> </ul> Salary Description $24.00-$26.00 an hour

<a href="#">Apply</a> Description JOB TITLE: Member Experience Staff REPORTS TO: Program Director and/or as assigned FLSA TYPE: Non-Exempt, Hourly JOB PURPOSE: Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the Member Experience Staff will administer all functions related to the front desk and in some locations may work on the fitness floor as well. They will have a direct focus on serving our members at the highest level as well as retention of members through great customer service. All staff must strive to work cooperatively with fellow employees to achieve the goals and objectives of the YMCA. They must also understand location safety and risk management procedures. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not a complete list): <ol> <li>Interpret and administer all policies established by the YMCA, to all members, participants, employees, etc. </li> <li>Project YMCA image by personal adherence to all policies</li> <li>Receipt money, make daily deposits, open &amp; close shifts in membership software.</li> <li>Run reports as requested /needed.</li> <li>Deal with emergency situations as they arise using all proper, trained skills</li> <li>Deal with upset members in a respectful, understanding manner</li> <li>Accurate &amp; timely reporting of all requested record keeping</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining a safe environment in all member areas, including common area, locker rooms, etc.</li> <li>Take a leadership role in any emergency that takes place in the building.</li> <li>Interpret and enforce membership rules &amp; policies to ensure the safety of all members, guests, employees, etc.</li> </ol> Requirements Required: <ul> <li>18 years of age</li> <li>Excellent skills in customer service and interactions with others</li> <li>Experience working with various computer software programs.</li> <li>Strong data entry skills</li> <li>Current CPR/AED/First Aid/O2 Certification. </li> </ul> Preferred: <ul> <li>Experience in a customer service setting</li> <li>High School Graduate or equivalent</li> <li>Bilingual - English/Spanish</li> </ul> Salary Description $10.00 - $11.00 an hour
