JOB DESCRIPTION The incumbent will be responsible to diagnose, adjust, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical on equipment; such as, conveyors, pavers, and plants used in heavy highway paving. The incumbent will need to operate in a safe and efficient manner following all personal protective equipment (PPE) and process requirements. Travel may be required. This role is classified as safety sensitive. Central Mix Concrete Plant Operator

The Boom Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a boom truck to transport and lift materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites. This role is classified as safety sensitive. Duties/Responsibilities: <ul> <li> Operate Boom Truck Safely: Safely drive a boom truck, transporting materials and heavy equipment to various job sites. Ensure all loads are securely fastened and comply with road safety standards.</li> <li> Load and Unload Materials: Use the boom or other lifting devices to load and unload materials at construction sites. Ensure that materials are handled properly to avoid damage and maintain site safety.</li> <li> Conduct Equipment Inspections: Perform routine checks of the truck, boom, and other lifting equipment before and after each shift to ensure optimal function and compliance with safety regulations.</li> <li> Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all company safety guidelines, including OSHA and DOT regulations, to ensure safe operation of the boom truck. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.</li> <li> Coordinate with Site Foreman: Work closely with project managers and site foremen to plan and execute timely deliveries. Ensure the truck and materials are positioned correctly for efficient unloading and minimal disruption to ongoing work.</li> <li> Maintain Documentation: Accurately document delivery times, material types, quantities, and other necessary information for tracking and reporting purposes.</li> <li> Assist with Site Setup: Help with the placement of materials on the construction site, ensuring that the load is accessible for the crew and ready for use when needed.</li> <li> Perform Minor Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs and basic maintenance on the truck and boom equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly.</li> <li> Ensure Load Compliance: Ensure that all loads are within legal weight limits and properly balanced before transport. Boom Truck Operator

The Concrete Finishing Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing the finishing and detailing of concrete surfaces in heavy civil construction projects. This role is classified as safety sensitive. Duties/Responsibilities: <ul> <li> Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment</li> <li> Work Area Maintenance: Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe to promote an efficient work environment.</li> <li> Supervision &amp; Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise a crew of concrete finishers and laborers. Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure all concrete finishing work is completed on schedule and to specifications.</li> <li> Concrete Finishing Operations: Oversee the proper preparation, mixing, pouring, and finishing of concrete for highway construction projects, including roadways, bridges, culverts, and more.</li> <li> Quality Control &amp; Assurance: Monitor concrete quality throughout the project, including consistency, moisture content, and curing. Perform site inspections and take corrective actions as needed to maintain quality control standards. Ensure concrete finishing work is in compliance with industry standards, specifications, and project requirements.</li> <li> Coordination &amp; Communication: Work closely with the paving superintendent, and other foremen to ensure efficient coordination of all construction activities. Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Report daily progress, challenges, and concerns to the Concrete Superintendent/Project Manager.</li> <li> Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs of concrete work, crew hours, materials used, and any issues encountered.
