Key Responsibilities<ul> <li>Lead strategic assessments, opportunity sizing, and business case development for new initiatives across the business that have the potential to drive a sizeable impact in both the near and distant future.</li> <li>Support long-term strategic planning and roadmap development for emerging products and solutions.</li> <li>Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to validate new opportunities across all in-scope business areas.</li> <li>Develop and maintain key strategic artifacts (strategic planning toolkit, dashboards, environment scans, KPIs, executive readouts).</li> <li>Own project management of early-stage builds, pilots, or validation efforts in partnership with product and operational teams.</li> <li>Operate as a thought partner to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and other senior leaders.</li> </ul>To be a candidate for this role you will possess the following:<ul> <li>Healthcare industry basics including how health plans work, how PBMs work, where value is generated across the value chain, key levers that drive decision making by healthcare leadership.</li> <li>Understanding of the current state of healthcare while identifying emerging trends and prioritizing opportunities to leapfrog competition.</li> <li>Ability to formulate ideas and innovate without prompting and knowing when to bring in leadership for guidance and approvals.</li> </ul>**This position is a remote position. Candidates can live anywhere in the US.**Required Qualifications<ul> <li>5 or more years of experience in strategy consulting, healthcare innovation, corporate strategy, or strategic program management.</li> <li>Extensive experience developing business cases, financial models, and strategic recommendations.</li> <li>Exposure to strategic finance, including how to evaluate companies’ financial health and how to size potential opportunities.</li> <li>Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving results in complex corporate environments. </li> <li>Experience influencing a wide array of stakeholders, including those who are much more senior, to collect information, drive consensus, and develop recommendations.</li> </ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul> <li>Prior consulting experience. </li> <li>Experience in the pharmacy benefits management (PBM) industry.</li> <li>Experience leading Go-To-Market activities within pharmacy benefits management (PBM) or healthcare space. </li> </ul> Education<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree required.</li> <li>Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MS in a related field).</li> </ul>Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$75,400.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
