This is a generic job posting for roles that will stretch across a number of different areas in Growth, Customer Experience, and our Eng Infrastructure teams. What You’ll Be Doing (ie. Job Duties) <ul> <li>Provide technical mentorship to teams across our Data Science organization.</li> <li>Build models to quantify the impact of negative experiences on the Coinbase platform. </li> <li>Develop novel experimentation techniques to optimize incentive spend (e.g. multi armed bandits).</li> <li>Create sophisticated sequential features based on user behavior to proactively identify customer issues or counteract malicious activities on the platform.</li> </ul> What We Look For In You (i.e., Job Requirements): <ul> <li>PhD preferred, or a Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Math, CS, or Statistics with 6+ years of relevant experience.</li> <li>Ability to design and execute complex data and modeling solutions that span multiple teams.</li> <li>Proven experience in developing and deploying ML models at scale, with a deep understanding of model lifecycle management.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of the strengths and pitfalls of various causal inference techniques.</li> <li>A track record in raising and maintaining a high technical bar in a world-class data science organization.</li> <li>Demonstration of our core cultural values: clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, and efficient execution.</li> </ul> Nice To Haves <ul> <li>Experience working with Growth or Customer Experience teams.</li> <li>Familiarity with the unique opportunities and challenges of crypto businesses and blockchain data.</li> </ul> ID: G2462 Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below.
