Nurse education in progress with completion of the first year/fundamentals of nursing, or equivalent, of an accredited nursing school.</li> </ul> </li> </ol> <ol start="2"> <li> Desired education/certification: <ol> <li>Current/Active and Unencumbered license/certification as a Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, American Board of Radiology, or Paramedic.</li> <li>Licensed Practical Nurse.</li> </ol> </li> <li>Required experience: </li> </ol> <ol> <li>Direct patient care in a clinical setting in emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, or an ambulatory care setting as a Medical Assistant, certified Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic, OR</li> <li>Official transcripts of current enrollment and participating in or have completed Medical Assistant training from a medical assisting program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of allied Health Education Programs or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools OR</li> <li>Official transcripts of completion of the first year/fundamentals of nursing, or equivalent, of an accredited nursing school.</li> </ol> <ol start="4"> <li>Desired experience: </li> </ol> <ol> <li>1 year with direct patient care in a clinical setting in emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, or an ambulatory care setting that includes performing x-ray and radiology testing as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic.</li> </ol> <ol start="5"> <li>Required skills: </li> </ol> <ol> <li>People-oriented, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Proficient verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, prioritize tasks, triage patients, and take vital signs. Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy. Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate administering medication(s) ordered by providers.
