Included in this are the following tasks: <ul> <li>Liaison with manufacturing and the customer to ensure that delivery changes are handled professionally and with the least amount of discomfort for the customer as dictated by the needs of the company</li> <li>Liaison with quality assurance and the customer to ensure that quality issues are handled professionally and expeditiously to the satisfaction of the customer</li> <li>Liaison with engineering and the customer when solving technical problems at the customer</li> <li>Liaison with engineering and the customer on the development of prototype parts</li> <li>Liaison with engineering and the customer when scheduling the delivery of prototype parts</li> <li>Manage any other interaction between the company and the customer heretofore unmentioned</li> </ul> </li> <li>Work with local reps and rep firms (if present) to facilitate the sales process</li> </ul> <ul> <li> Work with advertising and market implementation plans set forth by the company, which includes but is not limited to the following activities: <ul> <li>Lead generation</li> <li>Lead Qualification</li> <li>Lead Follow-up</li> <li>Trade show participation</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Provide written reports back to the company on all customer contacts or developments of significance</li> <li>Provide monthly business reviews for their territory in the format specified by the Director of Sales</li> <li>Participate in the company’s annual sales forecast for the following fiscal year</li> </ul> We are looking for: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in a technical or related field</li> <li>3+ years’ direct sales experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li> <li>German language skills a plus</li> <li>Strong communication and organizational skills required; must be able to effectively communicate to internal and external parties with a strong service mindset</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of electro-mechanical engineering and sales principles required; experience with BLDC, brushed, gear boxes, motor drives, lead screws, and linear actuators as well general engineering concepts of linear and rotary motion and power transfer highly preferred</li> <li>Must be able to work well within a team or independently, as well as demonstrate initiative and a drive for results</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally including travel to Europe for training at the Business Unit Headquarters and factories</li> <li>Must reside within the assigned territory </li> <li>Willing to work outside and beyond standard office hours (8:00AM – 5:00PM Mon-Fri) when the situation warrants</li> </ul>
