Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety. </li></ul> Responsibilities <ul> <li>The Phlebotomy Supervisor functions as a laboratory professional who assumes responsibility of leading the Phlebotomy laboratory department. </li> <li>With direct oversight of staff who perform specimen collection duties. </li> <li>This position also oversees training, competencies, scheduling, and operations within the phlebotomy department. </li> <li>At times this role might be expected to perform specimen collections based on the hospital/laboratory need; venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instruction and specimen culture collection instruction as assigned by their supervisor.</li> </ul> Qualifications Job Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li> <li>Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinical rotations or previous phlebotomy experience</li> <li>Certification from nationally recognized agency in Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Assistant, Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology</li> <li>Clinical laboratory experience as a Phlebotomist, Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician within a clinical laboratory</li> </ul> Preferred Job Requirements: <ul> <li>Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician with knowledge of phlebotomy practices</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science</li> <li>Five (5) or more years as a phlebotomist or in a technical laboratory position</li> <li>BLS</li> </ul>

As our EMR Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians by pulling patient records from EMR systems. Every day you will review customer records and upload them into a portal.
