This incumbent will be part of a team of project managers on the Disaster Recovery &amp; Investigation (DRI) team within Global Realty - Risk Operations &amp; Resilience (ROR). This candidate will manage construction and restoration vendors, driving efficient decision making throughout the physical repair and recovery process. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES): <ul> <li>Design, develop, and update cybersecurity courses and lesson plans tailored for grades K-12.</li> <li>Ensure alignment with educational standards such as ISTE, CSTA, or state-specific standards.</li> <li>Incorporate project-based learning, hands-on activities, and simulations to reinforce cybersecurity concepts.</li> <li>Create engaging instructional materials, including multimedia resources, assignments, and assessments.</li> <li>Develop scaffolding strategies to support diverse learners, including students with special needs and English language learners.</li> <li>Integrate gamification, coding challenges, and real-world case studies to enhance learning experiences.</li> <li>Cover core cybersecurity topics such as the CIA Triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability), encryption, network security, ethical hacking, and digital forensics.</li> <li>Work closely with educators, administrators, and instructional coaches to ensure the curriculum is practical and impactful.</li> <li>Provide professional development sessions for teachers on delivering the cybersecurity curriculum effectively.</li> <li>Assess curriculum effectiveness through student performance data, teacher feedback, and industry standards.</li> <li>Continuously update curriculum to reflect emerging trends and threats in the cybersecurity field.</li> <li>Performs related responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul> Required Qualifications Equivalent Education/Experience <ul> <li>Teaching credential or certification in secondary education.</li> <li>Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or HTML/CSS) and cybersecurity platforms.</li> <li>Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is preferred.</li> <li>Experience developing cybersecurity curricula for CTE pathways or programs with dual-enrollment partnerships would be useful.</li> </ul> Knowledge/Skill/Ability <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in education, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.</li> <li>At least 3 years of experience in curriculum development or teaching at the high school level.</li> <li>Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and tools.</li> <li>Proven experience with developing project- based learning activities or real-world simulations.</li> <li>Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, such as the CIA Triad, encryption, and network security.</li> <li>Familiarity with coding languages commonly taught in high school (e.g., Python, Java, or HTML/CSS).</li> <li>Experience designing lesson plans that meet state or national educational standards (e.g., ISTE, CSTA).</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum to accommodate diverse learning needs.</li> <li>Familiarity with educational technologies, LMS platforms (e.g., Canvas, Google Classroom), and gamified learning systems.</li> </ul> SPECIAL JOB DIMENSIONS: Work requires secure handling of highly sensitive educational materials and student data, which involves appropriate marking, storage, access controls, and complying with privacy regulations.
