PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS As part of this role, the Lead Workforce Analyst will work closely with TIL and the Workforce Intermediary and will be pivotal in developing a Labor Market Observatory (LMO). The LMO will harness data from education, industry, and workforce partners to facilitate in-depth analysis of skill development pathways and integration into the local workforce. Have experience translating these needs into system requirements.</li> <li>Provide training and ongoing support to university staff on the effective use of the TU systems.</li> <li>Monitor system performance to ensure it aligns with the university’s financial objectives.</li> <li>Work closely with both the Applications team members and IT project managers to ensure technical specifications and resources are properly identified and documented.</li> <li>Collaborate with application users, ERP team members, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, implement new features and functionality, and enhance processes.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to streamline current processes, deploy product enhancements, and proactively locate and resolve system data integrity issues.</li> <li>Develop and maintain detailed written technical specifications for developed solutions.</li> <li>Ensure that all programming, data exchanges, integrations, etc. are secure and in compliance with best practices and University data security standards.</li> <li>Undertake other duties not specifically stated from time to time to best support the University of Tulsa faculty, staff, and students. </li> </ul> Required: <ul> <li>Strong understanding of business processes and data security concepts.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills as well as exceptional written and oral communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.</li> <li>The ability to work with application end users of various technical skill levels to troubleshoot and resolve issues, deploy new features and functionality, and improve business processes.</li> <li>A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.</li> <li>Extensive experience optimizing ERP and/or SIS systems to support institutional goals and operations.</li> </ul> Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Extensive technical experience with higher education ERP configuration, management, and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Proven senior level experience working with finance information system processes such as AR, AP, Purchasing, GL, and tax administration.</li> <li>Understanding of data security best practices.</li> <li>Willingness and ability to successfully complete Ellucian Colleague training as it pertains to job functions and roles.</li> <li>The ability to work with users of various technical skill levels to troubleshoot and resolve issues, deploy new features and functionality, and document and improve business processes.</li> <li>Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of diverse backgrounds at a variety of administrative levels.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience in project management, including upgrades, implementations, or development with ERP/SIS and associated systems.</li> <li>Experience in higher education settings is highly preferred.</li> <li>Professional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or specific ERP certifications.</li> <li>Advance degree in business administration or related field.</li> </ul> Physical Demands Special Job Dimensions: Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Workdays and hours vary due to the nature of the University environment and the responsibilities of this position, with occasional evening and weekend work required.
