Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Present monthly valuation control results to the senior stakeholders including FLU, Risk Managers, QSG</li> <li>Partner with Business Finance Control (BFC) to review and challenge valuation control results</li> <li>Liaise with Regulators and Auditors on their queries and exams regarding the valuation controls</li> <li>Ensure timely remediation of regulatory matters requiring attention, audit findings and associated reporting demands</li> <li>Maintain and set-up proper governance framework and protocol to effectively report valuation risks</li> <li>Review and update the firm’s valuation control policy and guideline (and any other documentation owned by GVG) to ensure accurate interpretation of regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Development of appropriate governance, framework, and metrics for effective compliance with policies and regulatory expectations pertaining to valuation control</li> <li>Develop tactical and strategic solutions to improve the efficiency, consistency and accuracy of valuation control framework across all asset classes</li> <li>Work with BFC and GVG Methodology and other groups as necessary, to ensure that BOFA has a consistent valuation framework that meets both internal and external requirement</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships with other quantitative groups (e.g. QSG, MRM, Market Risk) to ensure adequate model governance</li> <li>Lead / contribute to project and initiatives to develop solutions for effective valuation control framework</li> </ul> What we are looking for: <ul> <li>Previous large, complex financial services organization experience performing valuation control / risk management / product control</li> <li>Knowledge of Valuation Control framework and processes</li> <li>Understanding of the Regulatory and reporting environment around Fair Value and Prudential Valuation</li> <li>Experience with regulatory and audit interaction from a control and governance perspective, and ability to provide guidance on implementing appropriate controls</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, and proven influencing and negotiation skills</li> <li>Commitment and ability to work under tight timeframes.
