At a Glance:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation of financial statements, general ledger preparation and review. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

This position is expected to be filled in the greater Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
What you will do:
- Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
- Administer stock-based compensation accounting, including expense recognition and EPS
- Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage accounting for corporate debt, including interest calculations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Assist with internal and external audits of the company’s quarterly and annual financial statements, including preparation of audit schedules, and responding timely to auditor questions and requests
- Develop and implement accounting policies to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Understand established internal controls and effectively improve, maintain, and enforce such controls and procedures
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management
What you need:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting
- 10+ years of related accounting experience to reflect the skills necessary for this role
- 3+ years of management responsibility over an accounting function
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Experience with general ledger function and the monthly/annual close process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (such as Excel and Word)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a publicly traded company is highly desirable
- Familiarity with multinational corporations
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
Not a must, but a plus:
- Public accounting experience
- CPA
- Experience with Alteryx, Blackline, Microsoft Power Suite, or Oracle
- Experience in oil and gas industry
